Part 2: From the Judges to Solomon

The narrative has been rearranged into chronological order, particularly with regard to the Judges, Ruth, and the life of David. The Song of Songs and Ecclesiastes have also been included in the Narrative, as they form an important part of Solomon’s story. The book includes all the psalms of the period, including all the psalms ‘of David’. Those that can be historically identified are included in the Narrative section, while the others are presented at the back of the book in thematic order. The Proverbs of Solomon have also been arranged in thematic order, in a loose arrangement based around the Ten Commandments.

Establishing the Kingdom continues the journey from the Judges to Solomon.
